John Rod and Co. Wins 5 FAME Awards
We are excited to share the news about the 13th Annual FAME awards, but first, congratulations to all the nominees and winners!
The FAME awards were created by the Shore Builder Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ) and honors the marketing accomplishments of companies, home builders, remodelers and associate members like John Rod and Co.

JOHN ROD & CO. – FAME WINNERS
WINNER – BEST LOGO FOR A MULTI FAMILY COMMUNITY – RIVERDALE PARC
This logo was created by John Rod and graphic designer Jaime Drodz-Bennett. Marketing director for Riverdale Parc is Jonathan Klein from Multi-Family Mgt. For the original logo concept, we wanted to be youthful and target New York City “Style”. The logo concept was also created for use in digital media platforms and social media usage. The “RIVERDALE” Brand was born knowing future projects from the same developer would leverage the logo and brand as part of a new series of rental properties in the RIVERDALE section of the Bronx.
WINNER – BEST INTERIOR MERCHANDISING FOR A MULTI FAMILY COMMUNITY – RIVERDALE PARC
John Rod and Co and interior designer Keva Stewart created the merchandising theme for this 7 story luxury rental property in the heart of Riverdale, New York. Produced as part of a series of merchandising efforts for Riverdale Parc, the entire building was the brainchild of marketing director Jonathan Klein. Our merchandising includes indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the building, including the Parc Lounge, Fitness Studios, Ourdoor Rooftop Veranda, Lobby, Model Home and Common Spaces throughout.
WINNER – BEST BROCHURE FOR A MULTI FAMILY COMMUNITY – RIVERDALE PARC
This award winning brochure design concept was created by John Rod in his usual “pencil sketch” fashion and alongside the super talented & creative Jaime Drodz-Bennett. With the writing talent of Linda Rooney, this brochure speaks of elegant living, luxury appointments and unique location. Its unusual shape and style insures it will stand out from any other brochure a potential prospect may find along their process of discovery.
WINNER – BEST INTERIOR MERCHANDISING FOR AN ACTIVE ADULT COMMUNITY – ENCLAVE AT SHARK RIVER
Model home merchandising starts with selections. Guiding a home builder to make the appropriate selections for his customers was our starting point at The Enclave. Keva Stewart, Graziella Dolce and John Rod select, design and create this elegant active adult model home for Pelican Court, LLC. The theme was light and bright. Our goal was to create a WOW factor and mixing textures, colors and fabrics of timeless quality.
WINNER – BEST SIGNAGE FOR AN ADULT COMMUNITY – ENCLAVE AT SHARK RIVER
Designed by John Rod and Frank Rod, the brothers coming together to create and design a stately stone wall entrance. This stone and pier design wall carry the entrance into the community and extend its effects well past the entry. The black background (granite insert) is cut into an oval shape and secured to the wall. Individual bronze “cast” cut out letters POP on the black background and flower beds complete with vibrant colors are added to maximize the entry impact.
